There is both an acute and ongoing need for stress management in the life and times we find ourselves in – one way of reducing stress is by focusing on our breathing
Breathing through the upper chest can happen as a result of poor posture, stressful situations, certain health conditions, cramped environment – ie work and hobbies to name a few.
We can improve our breathing (diaphragmatically) by focusing on breathing through our stomach/ribs, rather than letting our chest rise too much.
Try practising this while lying on our back so you can experience and feel your whole mind and body relax.
