Hi, my name is Stevey Chernishov. I was born & raised in Invercargill. My wife Lauren is from Riverton. We are enterprising & vibrant personalities who love the South.
I have stepped forward in the local elections to take responsibility for our region’s future; to make plans that are best for locals. We need to be careful with money, to think ahead; to do what’s best for our people.

You’ll also see fresh ideas about how we can look after local matters, grow businesses & lower our Region’s financial obligations.

Southern New Zealand can provide for it’s own region; as well as nationally & internationally. It is time to re-evaluate what Southern New Zealand has to offer, & roll out a localised, enterprising, creative, clever, fulfilling plan.
